Peering Network Goup & Peering Name Resolution Protocol are not running. Of course, I ran the HomeGroup Troubleshooter tool and network tool everywhere along the way with no problems found or fixed. Upon browsing solutions, none work including deleting idstore.sset file and then reboot. It gets to the "Share with other HomeGroup Members", it says "Windows cannot set up Homegroup on this computer. The "Create a HomeGroup" button was active so I proceeded to create a HomeGroup. When I went to set up a HomeGroup, I then when to the old laptop to retrieve the password and at the HomeGroup window, it showed no HomeGroup on the network. I exited the Join HomeGroup page from the new laptop and when it returned to the HomeGroup window, the old HomeGroup no longer appeared. When I tried to add the new laptop to the HomeGroup, it asked for a password. When I went to set up the HomeGroup, it found the HomeGroup from my other laptop. Recently, I bought a new HP laptop with Windows 10 installed. I set up a HomeGroup that connected the loptop to my printers via a wireless cable modem to a switch. I upgraded my HP laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 back in September 2015.
